What is language?

What is language?
This is our first post in the category named ‘grammar’. We will discuss here today the term ‘language’. As we know, our creator, the Almighty Allah has created about fifty thousand creatures. Some of them are living on earth, some in water, some in air and some in trees. In this large amount of his creatures, He has given us an ability, which is called the ability of talking and understanding. With the help of this ability, we are able to express ourselves.

We all also know that the basic difference between other so many creatures and in a human being is the ability to talk which is to be said the ability to express oneself. So we should be thankful to the creator, the most powerful, the most merciful, the only one Allah. From the above lines, we can conclude that a person having a command on expressing his or herself is truly genuine.

Let’s define this ability and see what it is?

According to Cambridge Dictionary, language is a system of communication consisting of sounds, words and grammar, or the system of communication used by people in a particular country or type of work.

In other words, we can say that language is a source between humans that helps them to share their feelings and thoughts in a common and understandable way.

In short, we can say that language is a source of expressing oneself.
