Alphabet:
The alphabet is the
set of symbols called letters, which are used for basic sounds of a language.
These letters are arranged in a fixed order. Each letter represents a single sound
and some have double or more sounds too.
English
Alphabet:
There are 26 letters
in English Alphabet.
They are written in
two cases: upper case and lower case.
In other words the
first one is called capital letters and the second one is small letters.

Upper Case or Capital Letters:

Lower Case or Small Letters:
a b c d e f g h i j k l m
n o p q r s t u v w x y z
The lower case or small letters are further divided into three types.
a. Sky Letters:
These letters are written in the above three lines if
written on four lines sheet. They are ‘b, d, f, h, k, l and t’.
b. Grass Letters:
These letters are written in the middle two lines if
written on four lines sheet. They are ‘a, c, e, i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x
and z’.
c.
Root Letters:
These letters are written in below three lines if
written on four lines sheet. They are ‘g, j, p, q and y’.
